The cyclists covered 183.5 kilometers with two sprint intermediate finishes and two major climbs. Alan Bashanek (“HRE Mazowsze Serce Polski”), who finished in four hours in 15 minutes and 11 seconds, celebrated the victory in the finish line of the 22 leading riders. He overtook UKYO team driver Raymond Kreder and Australian Cairo Monk (“Meiyo CCN”).
Bogdanovich, who also represents the continental team “Meiyo CCN”, ranked 12th. Bashanek has also become the leader in the overall standings. Kreder loses three seconds and Monks loses six. Bogdanovich loses 13 seconds and ranks tenth.
On Sunday, cyclists will measure 117 kilometers around Sakon Nakhon with one major hill at the beginning of the distance and the end of the sprint intermediate finish.
The six-stage tour of Thailand will end on Wednesday.
