Līve Ēbere and Kristīne Kramēna scored 16 points for the champions, who scored five points with “aisles” and two in the block. Adelīna Gerliņa added ten points, but Lāsma Ozola had nine points.
Liene Šimkuse scored 12 points in the Jelgava team, Kristīne Gabranova had ten points, four of them in the block, but Līva Sola took care of nine points.
In the bronze match, the volleyball players of “Riga Stradins University” / “Minus Volleyball School” (RSU / MVS) with 3-1 (25:12, 19:25, 25:14, 28:26) won the “University of Latvia” / ”Riga Volleyball School ”(LU) team.
On Saturday in the semi-finals RVS / LU with RS-0 / MVS 3-0 (29:27, 25:21, 25:12), but “Jelgava” with 3-1 (25:18, 25:14, 24:26, 25: 20) defeated LU / RVS.
Last season, the Jelgava volleyball players were crowned Latvian champions, beating RVS / LU 2-1 in the final series.
