Hradec Králové coach Koubek recently stated that he did not care much about participating in the group for the title and would rather play for the millionth prize for seventh place. From this point of view, his charges did not make him happy, because they increased their lead in sixth place to two points. The people of Hradec Králové struck right from the first action. In the seventh minute, Mejdr’s center flew into the penalty area and Vlkanova, who was the smallest player on the pitch, headed into the net. It was the sixth league goal for the East Bohemian captain in the season and the first after the winter break.
Douděra took care of the equalizer in the 20th minute, who decided to win 3: 2 against Hradec in the autumn and now he has returned to the team after serving a penalty for eight yellow cards. Hradec’s defense was gripped by a corner kick, Douděra shot from a sharp angle and the ball flew over Novotný’s unfortunate run over goalkeeper Vízek, who appeared for the first time in the spring league part of the season in the starting line-up. Twenty-three-year-old Douděra scored in the highest competition in the third match in a row, in which he entered, and for the fifth time in the season.
The Central Bohemians took the initiative and especially Matějovský and Ewerton were very busy defending the opponent. However, midfielder Hlavatý received a fourth yellow card for the filmed fall and will be missing in the next round.
After the change of sides, Mladá Boleslav increased the pressure even more and the East Bohemians relied only on breaks. In the 61st minute, this tactic succeeded 100%. Kodeš sends a long cross for the defense, after which Kubala ran in and finished in cold blood. He scored among the shooters in the third of the last four rounds and together for the fourth time in the league year. Kodeš then ruined the match with the 12th yellow card.
Nine minutes before the end, the Mladá Boleslav defender Šimek came out to the top and turned Skalák’s pass into a balancing goal. Hradec could even lose, but he was saved by Vízek, who pushed Dancák’s shot over the crossbar.
M. Boleslav did not lose the last eight league matches with Hradec, seven of the 12 mutual duels in the highest competition ended in a draw.
