Padel is “fashionable” and it arouses envy.
The World Padel Tour, which is the original pro circuit of this discipline, is in the process of wavering.
This week took place in Qatar, the first stop in Doha of another pro circuit funded by QSI and supported by the International Padel Federation.
This circuit, which is called Premier Padel, wants to change the “standing” of the pro world of padel already at first by paying players better than on the World Padel Tour.
This Saturday, while the information has been circulating for some time, the holding of a stage of this tour in Paris has been confirmed. It will finally take place in the temple of tennis at Roland‐Garros.
This clearly means that the FFT supports the First Round.
Padel fans will therefore be spoiled this year with a stage of the WPT in Toulouse in early June organized by T and T Management, and one of the Premier Tour in July in Paris with the FFT.
