LOSC experienced a stormy episode on Saturday evening, to say the least, after the disappointing draw conceded against Bordeaux (0-0). According to information from L’Equipe, Ben Arfa, who entered the game for 12 minutes, may have made his last appearance in the Lille jersey.
In the locker room, after the match, the tone quickly rose between two players and the scene got worse. The origin of the dispute seems to result from a fact of the game. Reassembled, Ben Arfa attacked his teammate Tiago Djalo. Jorge Maciel, one of Jocelyn Gourvennec’s assistants, tried, at first, to calm things down, in vain. Gourvennec intervened in turn but Ben Arfa is not angry and, as revealed by Téléfoot, utters particularly harsh words against the Breton coach.
This Sunday at the post-match scrubbing, still according to information from L’Equipe, Ben Arfa was the only Mastiff to miss the call. Within the club, discussions will take place in the coming days with those concerned. If he has not communicated so far, the club is seriously considering that the player, 35, no longer wears the Losc jersey.
Arrived in January for a six-month freelance, the former Rennais wore the Losc jersey seven times in the Championship and twice in the Champions League. However, he has never played a match in its entirety, after six months of inactivity since leaving Bordeaux in May.
