During an interview for Movistar +FC Barcelona director of football Mateu Alemany spoke about the situation of the Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele whose contract expires next June. The Catalan leader has not ruled out the possibility that the 24-year-old Frenchman will extend despite negotiations which have been suspended for several weeks.
“He and his agents have known for almost a year what our position is. For us, he can stay, as long as we are on sustainable salaries and proportional to his colleagues ”, said Alemany. This season Dembélé has played 22 matches with Barça, scoring two goals and providing ten assists.
