For a long time no events in judo were possible. As a contact sport, everyone knew that you would be the first to close and the last to open. With online training, outdoor training, contactless indoor training and then regular training at the end, the Unteraching trainers kept it alive with a lot of commitment.
Again and again, short-term adjustments to new corona rules were necessary, but the Unterhachinger judoka managed this too, so that the loss of members was kept within limits.
With the help of the Bavarian Judo Association, the starting shot was given on April 2nd, 2022 for new, also cross-club measures. With Donat Müller, the BJV sent the national coach U21 for three training sessions. It started with the adults/under 21s, and immediately afterwards, after more than 2.5 years, the event kitchen was back in operation and the participants were able to gather for an alcohol-free morning pint.
The second unit was for the children of the age groups U9/11/13, and the youngsters of the U15/18 formed the conclusion. A total of almost 50 judoka were able to experience special training and the special community of a cross-club event on this day.
