José Luis Pascual, player of the Soria Golf Club, closed his participation in the Spanish Adapted Golf Championship with a creditable fourth place, just three shots from second place.
The test has been held this weekend in the Malaga field of the RCG Guadalhorcewhere Pascual was the only representative of Castilla y León.
Between the two days, Pascual totaled 181 hits, 150 for the winner, Juan Postigo –far superior to all his competitors–, 178 for the second-place finisher, Álvaro Luengo, and 179 for the third-place finisher, Adolfo Lena.
The golfer from the Soria club was weighed down by his performance on Saturday, in which he added 94 strokes that took him too far away from the favorites.
Despite this, Pascual did not give up and on Sunday he signed a excellent tour of 87 strokes that earned him to climb to fourth place in the final scratch classification.
It must be remembered that, due to a game handicap –5.3–, the golfer from the Soria club started with the third best record of all the participants.
In the case of the champion, Juan Postigothis was his fifth title, won in what was the twelfth edition of the Spanish Adapted Golf Championship, an event that on this occasion brought together nearly 50 participants.
