The Municipality is betting “strong” again on the sports front, as well as on other “matches” already started in recent months (Palazzo Soave, exhibition center, streets): after completing, in the first mandate, the redevelopment of the Molinari stadium and of the sports hall in viale Resistenza, the administration of the mayor Passerini bis is once again targeting the sports facilities. The next challenge will be to concentrate efforts to refurbish the San Biagio sports center where two clubs and two sports, rugby and football, coexist. There is already a rough idea, a sort of feasibility study put in black and white for months now (to redo the stands of the two clubs, the changing rooms, review the common spaces, build other structures, connect the sports center with the school-oratory area of the Village) and for which, in fact, we are thinking in order to realize the “dream”. In general, the economic impact of the intervention has already been assessed: around three million euros. And what will be the path that the Municipality will take to intercept the funding stream? In these days, administrators are also taking action in light of the opportunities that are emerging. For example, the funds of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Pnrr) would be an excellent opportunity even if, it seems, they would not be “calibrated” for the project focused on the San Biagio center (little money and preference for a single company ), while the call for sports and suburbs, which could be refinanced shortly, could fit perfectly. For PNRR resources, it could converge on the baseball facility.
