Liga 1 2021/22 has not been finalized for a long time, but several clubs have quickly announced their new recruits to welcome next season’s competition which will be held next July, if indeed the plan can be realized.
PSIS Semarang probably stole the most attention because they were able to bring in two of the best foreign players in Liga 1 last season, namely midfielder Taisei Marukawa from Persebaya Surabaya, and Carlos Fortes, who was previously a striker for Arema FC.

Besides PSIS, Persija also announced their new recruitment. Although not as luxurious as Laskar Mahesa Jenar, the Kemayoran Tigers were quick enough to ensure the presence of left back Firza Andika, and Arema midfielder, Hanif Sjahbandi.
Persib Bandung as runner up last season, has not announced a new name so far. In fact, Persib is rumored to be with several top names, such as Ciro Alves to Ricky Kambuaya. For Umuh Muchtar as commissioner, Persib does not need to be in a hurry.
No invited, and we will talk together,” said Umuh as reported by Simamaung.
“Later, all management will gather together, and discuss what the next steps will be. There will be changes or not, or there will be additions or not,” he continued.
For Umuh, Persib must have thought of a plan to welcome next season. So far Persib have only announced that they have released Esteban Vizcarra, and Umuh has made sure Maung Bandung doesn’t panic about how other clubs are moving.
“Not [khawatir], if for Persib there is no problem. I’m sure everything will be better, and always followed and we are always orderly. We are number one with Bobotoh, there is continuity, the administrators are compact, especially with the players,” concluded Umuh.
