The ninth edition of the Women’s Copa América, which will take place on July 8 and 30 in Colombiaand which will take place in Armenia, Bucaramanga and Cali, in the Centenario, Alfonso López and Pascual Guerrero stadiums, formally kicks off this Thursday, April 7 with the draw for the group stage, where the tricolor will head the group as hosts.
It should be remembered that the America Cup delivers three direct quotas and two playoffs for the Women’s Soccer World Cup of 2023 that will be in New Zealand and Australia, in addition to three other quotas for the 2023 Pan American Games in Chile.
The Brazilian National Team, with 7 titles in 8 editions, arrives as defending champion in Colombia. Those directed by Nelson Abadía will seek the title that eluded them twice (2010 and 2014).
