We know the dynamism and versatility of the Mazamet hotel school. But the establishment has just made itself known, nationally, in a field where it was not expected! It is indeed in badminton, a discipline practiced within the framework of its sports association, that the hotel school of Mazamet has distinguished itself.
His team, made up of Thomas Degl’Innoncenti (final, coach), Samuel Massol (final), Mahoris Taton (second) and Ludovic Enard (final, referee), has indeed just won a very fine and unexpected fourth place (out of 24 teams involved) during the final of the French UNSS badminton championships held in Voiron (Isère) on March 30, 31 and April 1. It is a course completed in apotheosis, since the academic final in Foix in March, for students whose badminton is not the specialty and who do not practice this activity in a club outside the sports association. Their versatility (a basketball player, two footballers, a fencer), their determination and their confidence enabled them to defeat the various teams from all over France and obtain this very fine result with panache. Ludovic Enard has also been certified national UNSS referee.
