Lucía García, a 15-year-old woman from Ronda who lives in Arriate, has just published her first fiction novel, entitled ‘Almost impossible’. It tells the story of Cheryl, a completely normal 13-year-old girl who lives with her sister and her mother, when unfortunately, she suffers abuse and leaves with her father. She three years later she returns, without knowing everything that is coming her way.

Lucía assures that she never had the intention of publishing a book and this project arose almost unexpectedly in January of last year: “I wrote down my dreams, without any pretense, until one day I realized that I could put them together and create a story. I was linking the ideas, complementing them with news and details of real cases that I was reading or hearing in the media. When I already had a few chapters written, that’s when I decided to finish it”, she explains.

After several corrections and adjustments, in September the novel was finished. With the support of her parents, he began looking for a publisher and Autografía became interested in her. “The truth is that I am very happy and those who have already read it have congratulated me on the result,” she says.

Her relatives are very proud of this young woman, who takes advantage of school breaks and her free time to continue writing. In fact, she already has two more stories in mind: “On the one hand, I’m thinking about a woman who has to face a very hard and tragic life; on the other hand, I would like to tell the story of a couple very much in love who wants to be together, but fate keeps putting obstacles in their way”.

For now, Lucia wants to enjoy this sweet personal moment. Of course she would like to be a writer, “it would be very good”, but she has not yet decided on her professional future: “I really like acting, so I have to decide whether to train as an actress or study administration”. The novel is now on sale in physical format and can be purchased through the publisher’s official website.
