Luis Abinader visits Santo Domingo Este

The president of the Republic, Louis Abinader led various activities this Saturday in Santo Domingo East in which he delivered more than 90 million pesos to small and medium-sized businesses in the area and opened and started the construction of several works.

The president delivered RD$92 million in loans and financing to 750 beneficiaries through the National Council for the Promotion and Support of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (PROMIPYME).

In the event, held at the headquarters of the City Council of Santo Domingo Eastwhere the head of state was accompanied by the PROMIPYME director, Porfirio Peralta.

Abinader began the National Plan Building Hope, for the renovation and reconstruction of alleys on the Eastern Bank of the Ozama River that will benefit more than 15,000 families, from the El Dique sector, where decent steps will be available so that its inhabitants can move safely .

While with an investment of more than RD$12 million pesos, the president Louis Abinader handed over this Saturday the “La Goma” Baseball Stadium, in the Isabelita expansion, which will benefit more than 3,000 children and young people from Santo Domingo East.

Likewise, I leave the Asphalting Plan of the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) started, in the housing sector.

The head of state also started the first Science and Technology Fair in Santo Domingo Eastwhere more than 300 pre-university students participate.

He also made a supervision visit to the Producers Market of the Price Stabilization Institute (INESPRE), on Venezuela Avenue, in the Los Mina sector.

The president’s agenda included a visit to the “First You” Social Inclusion Conference, accompanied by the minister in charge of Strategic and Special Projects of the Presidency (PROPEEP), José Leonel Cabrera, in Los Tres Brazos.

Promese-Cal, the Price Stabilization Institute (INESPRE), the National Health Insurance (SeNaSa), the National Disability Council (CONADIS); the National Council for the Elderly (CONAPE), the Ministry of Public Health and the Economic Kitchens.

Also the Ministry of Labor, the National Institute for the Integration of Early Childhood Care (INAIPI), INFOTEP, the Vocational Schools of the Armed Forces and the National Police, the Community Youth Police, the Central Electoral Board and the Technological Institute of the Americas (ITLA).

The president was accompanied in the activities by the Ministers of Public Works, Deligne Ascensión; of Housing and Construction, Carlos Bonilla; the governor, Julia Drullard; the mayor of Santo Domingo EastManuel Jiménez and the Deputy Minister of Social and Community Management, Juan Garrigó.

Also, the deputy Bertico Santana; the director of INFOTEP, Rafael Santos Badía and the director of Passports, Néstor Julio Cruz Pichardo.
