For the first time in many generations, the multiplatform game Football Manager 2021 will not be released for consoles PlayStation 4 e 5. The company’s justification for this is the fact that Sony has not sent the dev kits to the producer, preventing the creation of the version from being carried out.
The information was shared by Miles Jacobson, director of the game, in a post made on Twitter, where he made it clear that the Japanese company was to blame for this corporate decision, something that shows a lack of interest in inserting this title on the platform.
When a game is in the development process for consoles, platforms need to send a specific kit, called a dev kit, so that companies can work with graphics quality tests, gameplay, navigation performance between menus so that the game reach the users “round”.
However, if this submission does not happen, the public ends up having access to the title in fewer video game options or systems, making many available only for the Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo console, even if they arrive for mobile, for example.
In this way, Football Manager 2021 is returned to Xbox One, Series S and Series X by decision of the North American giant to send the dev kit, allowing to make use of the latest technologies so that the new game gives the public a renewed and attractive experience , something that has already been worked on in this partnership since the release of the fourth version, in 2008.
Football Manager 2021 is coming to PC from Epic Games and Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Series S, Series X, iOS and Android, scheduled to arrive on Windows on November 24 and on other platforms in 2020.
