A great success was achieved by the very young Under12 players of the Estra Siena Baseball Club on Saturday afternoon, on the softball diamond of the “Scarpelli” stadium in Grosseto, in the first game of the season.
The young bianconeri, led by the manager Giusti, by the coaches Barroso and Bonazzola and by the accompanying manager Fabio Guidotti, defeated the Girls of BSC Grosseto 1952 by 23 to 14.
The softball stadium in Grosseto, practically “sold out” for the event, nevertheless hosted a good match between two very fierce teams.
The young Sienese, who alternated Anniballo, Laudadio, Ficini and Guidotti on the platform, received the compliments of the experts present, not only for the good performance of the attack, but also for some valuable defensive plays.
