Gray day in Nal. tennis

A day of contrast was the one experienced by tennis in San Luis Potosí, within the National Children’s and Youth Tennis Tournament that is taking place in the different clubs of the capital, both in the men’s and women’s branches.

In yesterday’s results, in the 10 years, men’s branch, Patrick Wauthier Galván loses to Iker Barrionuevo Vélez de Puebla by 4-0 and 4-2; and then he loses again now with Connor Henry Cooper from the State of Mexico 4-2 and 5-4.

In the 12-year-old category, women’s branch, Estefanía Yáñez Martínez (SLP) beat the seeded one of her Miranda category Renee Fernández (NL) by 6-4 and 6-4; Paulina Ocaña González (SLP) loses to Montserrat Montaño (SIN) 6-4 and 6-0; Katherine Marifer Torres López (SLP) beats Claudia Mancilla Gómez (EM) 6-1 and 6-1; Fernanda Valle Sáenz (SLP) lost to Paula Rivera (EM) 7-5, 3-6, 6-4; Sofía Alvarado (SLP) loses to Mónica Serrano Manjarrez (SON) 6-2, 6-1; Marian Vega Andrade (SLP) beats Cristina Lucrecia Hagelsieb (CHI) 3-6, 6-1, 6-1.

In the men’s 14-year-old category, Alfonso Cossío (SLP) defeated Luca Bernardo López (NL) 6-4, 6-1; Sebastián García Puente (SLP) beats Xavier Alonso Rozada (GTO) 6-0 and 6-0; Luis Manuel Abella (SLP) loses to Guillermo Antonio Narcio (QRO) 6-3 and 6-0; Joaquín González Félix (SLP) lost to Emilio Alcalá Reyes (GTO) 6-3 and 7-6 and Nicolo Magagnin (SLP) beat Fernando Carrillo (JAL) 6-0 and 7-6.
