Made up of Ana Verónica Montero, Isabel Saucedo, Ana Saucedo Tapia, Marco Mora Pichardo, Arturo Moreno Cedillo and Mauricio Gómez Monje, the badminton team of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEMex), confirmed their ticket to the National Universiade to be held in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua for the month of May.
The university coach Victoria Montero, was satisfied with the pass of six members of this discipline for the national student sports fair.
“We are happy after our regional stage where we took eleven elements and they managed to pass six in different modalities for the National Universiade, we go with all the intention of leaving the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico on high and leaving the colors green and gold”, explained coach Victoria Montero.
He commented that now the preparation will come and fine-tune the details to be ready for the event organized by the National Student Sports Council (CONDDE).
Montero Enríquez is confident of having a good performance with his six members in Badminton and for this reason now the training is expected to be more exhaustive to arrive in optimal conditions in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.
