There are already 13 old Arema players who have signed new contracts

Arema’s manager, Ali Rifki, said there were already 13 old Arema players who signed new contracts. They will still be part of the Singo Edan squad in Liga 1 2022-2023.

There are names such as captain Johan Farizi Dendi Santoso Bagas Adi, Rizky Dwi, Jayus Hariono, Teguh Amiruddin, Dedik Setiawan, Kushedya Hari Yudo, Ikhfanul Alam, and Muhammad Rafli. There are also three foreign players, namely Adilson Maringa (Brazil), Sergio Silva (Portugal), and Renshi Yamaguchi (Japan).

Apart from them, there are still names of young players who graduated from Arema Academy who are still under long-term contracts. For example, Achmad Figo, Achmad Galih, Seiya da Costa, Muhammad Faiz, Bramntio Ramadhan, Hamzah Titofani, and Andryas Francisco.

“The names that I have submitted have been extended. What I haven’t mentioned, whether it’s extended or not, just wait for the release from Arema management,” said Ali.

Thank you for the old Arema players who left

On the same occasion, Ali Rifki also thanked the old players who chose to leave Arema. There are at least four players so far.

After Carlos Fortes, there were names like Hanif Sjahbandi, and Diego Michiels who said goodbye. Recently, Feby Eka also decided to leave.

Apart from them, three loan players have returned to their clubs, namely Fabiano Beltrame, Sandi Sute, and Genta Alparedo. There are still names of old players with one year contracts that have not been mentioned by Ali, such as Aji Saka, Didik Ariyanto, Ridwan Tawainella, Ryan Kurnia, and Vikrian Akbar.

“Thank you Hanif, Feby, Diego, Fortes, and several other players whose contracts will also end at Arema,” he concluded.

There have been seven names of new players brought in by Arema for next season which were inaugurated in two groups of introductions. READ: Most recently, there were three new players for Liga 1 2022-2023 that Arema introduced.
