It is a little after 11 a.m. this Saturday morning when Patrick Schneider, the president of Kometrib unveils the plaque. In the midst of the multiple photos of FCO teams that line the walls of the club house, from the Alsace champions of D4 in 1957 to the winners of the Crédit Mutuel cups, via the Alsace champions of Excellence of 2017 or the Bas-Rhin de PE in 2004 and 2008, or even by the youth teams of Kometrib, champions of Bas-Rhin, like the U19As of the 2012/2013 season, or of Alsace, like the U19 Promotion in 2014 or the U18A in 2016, now blooms a plaque entitled “Label Jeunes FFF Élite 2021-2024 Kometrib”. It is the highest federal honor.
