The Vegadeo City Council awarded the best athletes in the municipality of 2020 and 2021 at the Veigueño Sports Gala held at the Félix Menendez Auditorium. The winners were Ruth Veiguela (Vegadeo Badminton Club) as the best athlete 2020 and as best athletes 2021 the components of the Eo Rowers Club (Aitana, Uma, Laura and Yolanda Alzú) as well as Julio González and Toñi Fernández Lavayos (Vegadeo Badminton Club). . The social work of the Clubs Reneros del Eo, Club Badminton Vegadeo and Club EoDo JiuJitsu was also recognized.
