FC Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga top game at FC Barcelona before the Euroleague quarter-finals. At the MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg, the team of coach Andrea Trinchieri managed a convincing 77:58 (30:36) on Saturday.

With a record of 22:7 wins, the Munich team secured second place in the table. Ludwigsburg (20:9), who are also fighting for the Final Four in the Champions League at Romanian club U-BT Cluj Napoca on Tuesday, remains fourth.
Before the first of three possible quarter-finals in the premier class on Tuesday (9 p.m. / Magentasport) at FC Barcelona, Bayern were in top form. The Trinchieri team showed its strengths especially in the fourth quarter (26:11) and deservedly won in the end. The winner’s best thrower was Ognjen Jaramaz with 14 points.
The Hamburg Towers (17:13) secured seventh place with a 92:79 (47:41) at the Löwen Braunschweig and were able to take another step towards participation in the playoffs. The Hakro Merlins Crailsheim also hope after the 90:85 (44:49) against medi Bayreuth in ninth place to qualify for the knockout round. The Jobstairs Gießen 46ers (6:22) are threatened with relegation after the 97:110 (54:56) against s.Oliver Würzburg. The hosts remain in 17th place.
