Murua is expelled in the final stretch of a very even match

Alfredo Ibero’s team has started. He intercepted almost all the rival penetrating options. Until in the 17th minute, Gobela’s men managed to score a goal that was disallowed. Xabi Cortezón finished off a pass from Ibargoien, but the referee estimated that the ball had previously gone over the baseline. And after half an hour, there was a controversial play, in which a penalty was claimed against Cortezón that the referee did not indicate, much protested.
The best red and black minutes have been the last of the first half, with a couple of actions in which it is worth highlighting a failed volley by Cortezón. The only visitor action of this initial period has come with a header from Iriguibel, slightly elevated, in the 26th minute.
The resumption has seemed promising for the getxotarras. Ibargoien, leaning to the right, hit the post with a shot inside the area, in the 48th minute. Minutes later, Jonma’s parallel pass was finished off slightly by Ibargoien himself, while Celihhueta’s header went high by bit.
It was the 56th minute when the last local occasion occurred. So San Juan has chosen to advance lines. By then, only Aranguren had tried, who wasted the option by shooting loosely from outside the area so that Landeta stopped without problems.
The Navarrese have been comfortable in that final half, although they have not been fine on the offensive side either. In the 80th minute, Zabaleta crashed the ball into the barrier, spoiling the launch of a free kick very close to the crescent. And three minutes later, Murua was expelled, who has seen two consecutive yellow cards (the first in 79).
In desperation, Fagoaga has introduced three changes already in injury time, but nothing has moved either on the pitch or on the scoreboard. Al Arenas, who aspires to sneak into the promotion play-off group, lacks gunpowder. And it is clear that he will have to sharpen his aim if he wants to get into that select group. Because he doesn’t receive, but he doesn’t score either.
