Without medals, the Pan American began

The first day of the Pan-American in Lima began yesterday with good Argentine performances but without medals, so today the remaining judokas will have their revenge.

The first stage of the two days of Pan American competitions for the Albicelestes judokas passed without medals, the results were the following in the female:

  • Keisy Perafán in up to 48 kilos, she was in fifth place after not obtaining her pass for third place and being defeated in the last fight with the American Laborde.
  • Breeze Gomez she also finished fifth after being beaten by another North American, Mariah Holguin.

As for the male branch, the final results were as follows:

  • Nicolás Gómez He did not manage to pass the first round and finished in seventh place in the category up to 60 kilos.
  • Thomas Morales He was not lucky either and was defeated in the first round at the hands of the Australian Katz in up to 73 kilos.

Finally, today Lucía Cantero and Victoria Delvecchio will be competing in the women’s category up to 70 kilos, while Agustín Gil (-81 kg.), Mariano Coto Bresier (-90 kg.), Ivo Dargoltz (- 100 kg.), Juan Ignacio Panniccia (-100 kg.) and Alejo Burgos (+100 kg.).
