In order for children and young people to have an approach to the practice of Archery, the Municipal Sports Institute of Tijuana launched this month a Sports Initiation Center focused on said discipline in the Las Huertas Sports Unit.
The activity, which favors eye-motor coordination and enhances the ability to concentrate, is taught by the Millennial Archery Club, which has vast experience in developing young talents in the discipline of Archery.
The free Archery classes are taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and on Saturdays, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. For more information and to register, go to the administration area of the Las Huertas Sports Unit.
In addition to Archery, the Tijuana Municipal Sports Institute has another 25 Sports Initiation Centers in 15 different sports units and gyms.
The disciplines that children, youth and adults can learn for free are Cachibol, Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, Soccer, Boxing, Karate, Physical Activation, Martial Arts, Zumba and the aforementioned Archery.
