Chiaraviglio will be the flag bearer at the opening of the Games

The Argentine Olympic Committee (COA) announced the Argentine delegation that will represent our country at the III South American Youth Games Rosario 2022, which will have Rafael Tomás Mondino and Camila Rodriguez in the athletics team.
The national delegation will be made up of 259 athletes between the ages of 14 and 17 who will participate in the 26 sports disciplines that make up the Sports Calendar of the Games. These are: Athletics, Badminton, Beach Handball, 3×3 Basketball, Boxing, Cycling, Climbing, Fencing, Futsal, Artistic Gymnastics, Hockey 5, Judo, Karate, Weightlifting, Olympic Wrestling, Swimming, Figure Skating, Speed ​​Skating , Rugby 7, Skateboarding, Taekwondo, Tennis, Table Tennis, Archery, Triathlon and Beach Volleyball.
The Argentine flag bearers at the Opening Ceremony will be the tennis player Luciana Moyano and the basketball player from Sunchal, Nicolás Chiaraviglio, who last week was one of the torchbearers who passed through our city. Luciana Moyano won two gold medals at the I Junior Pan American Games Cali 2021, in the women’s singles competition and in mixed doubles. This year she was crowned champion of the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors held in Paraguay and is currently ranked 30th in the ITJ Junior Ranking.
Meanwhile, Nicolás Chiaraviglio became champion of the Sportmagic Junior Cup “Basketland” with the Argentine U15 team, he is part of the Libertad de Sunchales National League team and the U18 national pre-selection.

PREPARATORY TOURNAMENT
With two matches, the dispute of the fifth date of the ARB First Division Preparatory tournament continued last night. In Villa Rosas, the undefeated Unión de Sunchales continued its overwhelming pace in this regular stage, beating the local Peñarol by 81-37 and staying with the 1st in Zone B. At the long break the result was 38-17.
