ASICS Japan will release basketball shoes “NOVA SURGE 2” at ASICS online stores and sporting goods stores nationwide from May 27th.
The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is 18,700 yen (tax included).
This product is the latest model for high school students to general physical players. Based on the concept of “entrusting power and controlling height”, we have adopted structural designs in various places in pursuit of drawing out the jumping power of the player.
Compared to the previous work, the front part of the sole is 2 mm thick and the rear part is 4 mm thick, and the heel part is rounded to support smooth movement of the center of gravity from stepping to jumping. Resin support parts have been added to the outside of the front part to suppress lateral shake and improve stability when stepping on the jump.
In addition, the unique ankle structure placed on the ankle provides a wrap-around fit for strenuous movements.
The heel counter on the outside of the heel suppresses heel shake during play.
