The “retrovalico” services, ordered by the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Trieste and aimed not only at controlling the territory, but also looking for fugitives, continued this month.
In this context, the soldiers of the Compagnia di Aurisina have identified, on several occasions, 5 recipients of imprisonment orders, in one case also international. These are Romanian and Albanian citizens convicted of crimes ranging from aggravated theft, to carrying weapons to drug dealing.
To this is added the report on the loose of three other Romanian citizens found in possession of stolen goods removed shortly before in the province of Brescia.
These are mainly work materials, lawnmowers, pressure washers and various accessories, stolen from the ANA headquarters in Roncadelle. The Alpini, contacted by the Carabinieri, have regained possession of what was stolen from them, expressing their gratitude to the military.
