As the popular saying goes: “Christmas with your parents and Easter… at the 24 Hours of Judo”! So it was for the 60 athletes of Judo Mondovì, Judo Valle Maira, Santena Academy, Judo Cuneo and Judo KDK Cuneo, with the welcome participation of a veteran judoka, who met at the Marconi gym, in Dronero, for a ‘full immersion ‘in the noble discipline of Professor Kano.
The event, organized and promoted by ASD Judo Valle Maira, in collaboration with ASD Judo Mondovì and ASD Accademia Santena, was born and developed with the aim of encouraging aggregation and socialization between young people from different or distant realities of the Granda province. . The ‘respect’ towards oneself, towards the companions, towards the masters and towards the Dojo; customized and specific training sessions for agonists and pre-agonists; the various games of knowledge, reactivity and readiness; the many moments of conviviality and above all the thrill of sleeping away from home with new friends.
All these elements make the 24 hours of judo a thrilling and fascinating project. The genesis of an event of this type has been lost over the years but the will remains firm in the organizing companies to offer spaces capable of creating positive meeting opportunities. A parterre de roi, of absolute value, the teaching staff foreseen for the occasion and composed by Maestro Diego Penone (black belt IV Dan), by Maestro Alessandro Brizio (black belt II Dan) by Maestro Gian Luigi Giorda (black belt V Dan ), and by the Technician Lorena Giorda (black belt II Dan), capable of accompanying the students in the rich program specially prepared with passion, seriousness and preparation. The event, which began at 2 pm on Friday 15 April and ended at 1 pm on Saturday 16 April, was a sort of Easter prologue in which commitment and effort become a prelude to the joy that comes from being together and getting to know each other.
