Saint-Jean-de-Monts. Lilian Lageon qualified for France badminton

After qualifying for the Ugsel departmental championship at Les Herbiers, the Saint-Jean-Les-Lauriers college saw two students compete in the regional badminton championship in Laval , specifies Florian Bourdet, professor of EPS. Having never done badminton either in a club or in PE lessons, Emma Clautour, a fifth-grade student, finished sixth in the departmental championship among the youngest and 26e in the regional championship. She was able to put her opponents in difficulty obtaining two victories out of six , but unfortunately that was not enough to achieve an interesting ranking. The second pupil in fourth class, Lilian Lageon, is dismissed from the Le Volant Montois club. Having finished champion of Vendée at the minimum level, he won his eight matches in the elite regional event against other players also licensed in the club. Faced with a high level, determined and concentrated in each match, he shows precision and plays with mischief to lead his opponents to defeat. A great victory for the schoolboy! He qualifies for the French elite badminton championships from May 18 to 20 in Mordelles (Ille-et-Vilaine). The educational team congratulates these two young people for their investment.
