The 18th Suncheon City Life Sports Festival has been completed
Replenishing vitality through physical education, which has been contracted by COVID-19
[순천=아시아경제 호남취재본부 이형권 기자] The city of Suncheon announced on the 9th that it had successfully completed the 18th Suncheon City Life Sports Festival over two days from the 7th to the 8th.
Starting with the opening ceremony at the Palma Sports Complex on the morning of the 7th, about 2,800 athletes in 23 sports, including billiards, soccer, bowling, and badminton, played at the Palma Gymnasium and the stadiums for each sport.
Through this competition, it provided an opportunity to revitalize sports for life, which had been shrunk due to COVID-19, and to strengthen harmony among athletes and comfort citizens.
An official from Suncheon City said, “In the process of gradually recovering daily life over the difficulties of Corona 19, we have prepared an opportunity to restore the pride of everyday sportsmen.” I hope it will be an opportunity to hold the event and achieve the best results.”
