Another weekend of intense activity for Atletica Piacenza, committed in Modena in the regional phase of the Club Championships. The most prominent result was certainly Allegra Santelli’s silver. In fact, Gabriella Rondoni’s pupil managed to earn her participation in the Italian Students’ Championships, scheduled for mid-June. Allegra ran the 3000m in 10’52 ”13, well below the time of 10’55” 00 required to pass the selection. You then continue the period of form of the Piacenza middle distance, which remains one of the spearheads of the red and white association, for years always in the front row in the participation in the highest national reviews. Technical result of a level also that of Chiara Piccinelli, 11.12m in the 3 kg shot put, a few cm from the minimum to participate in the National Championships. Chiara is going through an excellent moment, in a continuous growth in the specialty, which will surely lead her to achieve the goals she deserves. Nice performance also by Anna Pissarotti, who conquered the bronze medal on 400hs with a time of 1’07 ”74. There is still a lot to improve, but certainly the young woman coached by Giovanni Baldini is on track to become an excellent specialist in the discipline. Another third place for Atletica Piacenza, thanks to Tommaso Fezzi, who equaled his personal best, crossing the bar set at 1.73m. The room for improvement for the young man coached by Cristina Bobbi still seems wide. At the end of the first phase, the red and white are fourth in the team general classification. A sign that, in addition to the aforementioned excellent individual results, there are also many guys who bring interesting scores. Atletica Piacenza, in fact, is very keen to provide all its players with the opportunity to improve and actively contribute to team competitions.
