SILVER PORT.- Star basket player Bernardo Polanco scored 35 points to guide the Correcaminos de la Parte Baja to their second victory in the final series of the XXVI Puerto Plata Superior Basketball Tournament, after beating the Sosúa Sharks 101-93 in a game which had the Roofing Fabio Rafael González as a stage.
The sports event has a special dedication to the Administrative Minister of the Presidency, José Ignacio Paliza and the Ministry of Sports Cup is played.
The first half ended 63-49 in favor of the Lower Section. Polanco scored 24 units in that first part of the match and Kelvin Peña 13, for Sosuenses Gilwan Nelson and Diosel Ulloa scored 10 each.

The third and fourth set were dominated by the Sosúa Sharks 19-16 and 25-22 respectively.
