Magdeburg – In spring 2019, for the club’s 25th anniversary, the Poor Pigs baseball players embarked on a little adventure: they decided to “change” from the Central German League (MDLB) to the Verbandsliga Berlin/Brandenburg, wanted to do it with the face stronger competition. After three years, that adventure is over: When the first pitch of the new season is thrown in Leipzig on Sunday, the Poor Pigs will be back in the Central German League – and baking small rolls.
