Ourense badminton has not missed its appointment with the podium in another Galician Championship. This time it was in the sub-13 category that took place in the Pontevedra town of Tui. The club from Ourense attended the event with only four athletes (Adrián Seijo, David Casas, Antón González and Daniel Álvarez), but the baggage has been outstanding: two gold medals and a bronze medal.
Adrián Seijo was the most diligent of the Ourenses, signing a golden double. He won the gold medal in both the singles and doubles, in this second modality forming a couple with his partner David Casas, who for his part reached the third step of the podium in the individual competition.
Antón González, meanwhile, was just one step away from the medals. He reached the quarterfinal round, in which he lost to David Domínguez, from Club Badminton A Estrada.
The coach Sara Ezquerro accompanied the young members of the Athlos Club to a Regional in which they have yours to demonstrate their high level.
