Three golds, one silver and three bronzes went to the Catalan trophy
Seven medals for the very young athletes of the GS Judo Terralba company at the Catalan trophy, reserved for children aged 4 to 10 years. The event was staged last Sunday in Alghero.
Three gold medals, won by 8-year-old Andrea Meloni, 7-year-old Simone Diana and 8-year-old Gabriele Spanu.
Second place instead for Maira Pili, a 4-year-old judoka. Finally, 7-year-old Micol Dessì, 8-year-old Gabriele Esu and 7-year-old Lorenzo Zanda climbed to the lowest step of the podium.
“I am very satisfied with my little champions who were finally able to resume racing after more than two years of stoppage due to the pandemic,” said coach Giovanni Spanu. “They did the best they could and had a blast.”
Gs Judo Terralba is chaired by Marisol Marcias.
Next Sunday, May 29th, in Arborea there will be the first phase of the Grand Prix dedicated to Beginners A and Beginners B. The company from Terralba will participate with five of its athletes.
