Federal Basketball League | Tokyo is going for the finals: it will be measured against Unión de Colón next Monday

Tokyo has been doing a huge season in the Federal Basketball League. And it is that after overcoming the initial scare that meant the loss of the undefeated against Racing (something that happened last season and led to the elimination of Oriental), the Ponissi team recovered and entered the quarterfinals where they dispatched Regatas by 2- 0.

Having already reached the semifinals, Tokyo awaited the confirmation of who would finally be their rival. In this way, and after a great victory against San Martín de Curuzú Cuatiá on Sunday night, Unión de Colón will be the one to play against Oriental next Monday in Entre Ríos.

Later, the series will move to “Jorge R. Yamaguchi” on Friday for the second commitment. If a third game is needed, it will be played the next day, Saturday the 11th, again at the Oriental Temple, since Tokyo secured the venue.

The missionary team comes with a great present both in the game and in the mood, added to the great advantage of defining the series locally. On the other hand, Unión comes to this commitment emboldened after overcoming San Marín in a great game, but that without a doubt can take its toll when it comes to performing at the same level against the most regular team in the tournament.
