Basketball: the first guidelines were drawn up for the 2022 Pre-Federal Tournament

The Entre Ríos Basketball Federation (FBER) began to define what the 2022 Pre-Federal Tournament will be. In the last meeting of the FBER Board of Directors, the different variants of club competitions in the Senior Men’s category were analyzed for the new contest . The new competition, according to the FBER’s schedule of activities, is set to start on Friday, August 5, with a possible completion at the end of November. While the registration of the clubs will be open to all those who wish to participate, setting the date of registration on July 2.

These dates (July 2: registration; and August 5: start of the competition) may change according to a previous meeting that will be held with all those interested in participating. The briefing scheduled by FBER will be on Saturday, June 11, at 10, in the city of Villaguay (headquarters of the Medical College).

According to information provided by CAB and that has been sent to all the clubs, the formation of the squads will be made up of four older cards, two U23 cards and four U21 cards. For the purposes of calculating the ages for the Pre Federal, 2022 will be the starting year, with its clubs classified for the Federal 2023 on December 1, 2022.

The CAB also notified and the FBER adheres to the mandatory nature of the integral use of the CAB-SIREDI system and the digital spreadsheet. The FBER will dictate regulations and game format, as well as have its own Disciplinary Court.

At the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Federation, it was determined that by 2023 the clubs interested in participating in the federative or Pre-Federal competition will be a mandatory condition to have participated in the respective Associative Tournaments, and each Association must inform the FBER of the order of classification that It will be taken into account before the possible formation of the zones or regions for the year 2023.
