As part of the professionalization of Club NXT and Club YLA (women’s section), the Club has appointed Guilian Preud’homme as CEO. Koen Persoons will become the director of the training center of Club NXT.
Guilian Preud’homme becomes the CEO of Club NXT and Club YLA (women’s section) from July 4th. The son of Michel Preud’homme (29) studied civil engineering at the universities of Amsterdam, Lucerne and London. He held strategic positions at Brussels Airport for more than 5 years.
Koen Persoons (38) will become the director of the training center of Club NXT. The former KV Mechelen and KSC Lokeren player has played more than 300 matches in the Belgian first division and therefore brings with him a wealth of experience. The double cup winner hung up his crampons on Thursday. In the meantime, he has also become a personal trainer and founded, with David Hubert, the association “Play and move”, which organizes training courses for young people. With this in mind, he will now set the lines of the Club Brugge academy. He succeeds Tim Smolders, who was head of the Academy.
With his own CEO for Club NXT and YLA and a director of the Club NXT training center, the Belgian champion is taking new steps, namely the professionalization of his work with young people and the growing importance of women’s football among Blauw en Zwart.
