Robert Klages writes from LICHTENBERG:
- District Councilor Martin Schaefer (CDU), together with Anna Weigl, regional manager for Berlin and Brandenburg at TIER, has now defined parking areas and restricted zones for parking rented e-scooters in Lichtenberg. As a result, the company’s sharing vehicles should no longer be parked outside of parking areas that were set up specifically for scooters, mopeds and bicycles. This should significantly reduce the unstructured parking of e-scooters in the district. Let’s see if it works. And maybe extend to cars as well? More on that in any case in the newsletter, other topics this time include:
- Women’s week: “Lichtenberg in women’s hands”
- Funk, reggae, hip-hop and lots of rock: music is played in the streets at the Fête de la Musique
- Reading tip: “You have to love Berlin” with the “Trombones from Lichtenberg” and the “Missoir”
- Civil protection and self-help skills should be taught at primary schools
- As the first Berlin district: “Junior Security” project for 25 elementary schools
- Workshop: Decolonial Perspectives on Feminism
