Na Seong-seung and Jin-yong, expected men in badminton in Korea, win their first international competition

South Korean badminton men’s doubles prospect Na Seong-seung (23, Armed Forces Athletic Corps) and Jin-yong (19, Yonex) won the first international championship.

The two defeated Taiwan’s Chiu Saengchie and Yang Mingse in the men’s doubles final of the 2022 World Badminton Federation (BWF) Denmark Masters held in Hillerod, Denmark on the 12th (local time). They won the championship with a 2-0 (21-13 21-16) win in 32 minutes.

Na Seong-seung and Jin-yong were selected in last year’s national team competition and worked together since last February at the Asian Men’s Team Championship. He even won his first championship, raising expectations to grow into a men’s doubles sign in the future.’

Men’s singles Jeon Hyuk-jin (27, Yonex) and women’s doubles Seong-yeon Seong (25, Jeonbuk Bank)-Kim Min-ji (23, Gimcheon City Hall) also won bronze medals. The national team will continue to perform at the 2022 Indonesian Open Championships to be held in Jakarta from the 14th.
