Official: Ronny Deila is the new coach of Standard

It’s official. As we announced to you exclusively, Norwegian Ronny Deila takes over from Luka Elsner. Standard had been without a coach since the departure of Luka Elsner, who left Sclessin in April the day after the club was taken over by the 777 Partners group.

With the Bhoys, the Norwegian was Scottish champion in 2015 and 2016 and won the Scottish League Cup in 2015. He was also Norwegian champion with Stromsgodset in 2013, club with which he also won the Norwegian Cup in 2010.
