About ten people, archers and the management team of the Compagne des archers du Bassin, with parents, met on their nature course based in Roussennac to learn about field shooting.
Around 4 p.m., exhausted, but very satisfied with their day, everyone gathered around a drink of friendship. As for the practitioners, young and old, they all hope to be able to renew without delay a new day of shooting course in Roussennac.

Field shooting has also made a newly licensed archer want to get into this discipline. Accompanying her son Logan to training, Julia Do Brito started archery last September, because practicing with the family is much more fun. After having had a great indoor season with a preference for barebow, Julia discovered campaign shooting thanks to the club’s women. She is a motivated, diligent archer who only asks to learn to progress.
For her first competition in field shooting, she participated in that of Sansac-de-Marmiesse (Cantal).
She made a nice score of 161 points. Julia is happy with her first outing in competition because, as she says, “the goal was to come back with all my arrows”, which she succeeded with flying colors.
