It starts on Monday 20 June with the Olympic torch that will arrive at the Municipal Villa and then continue throughout the summer. The 2022 Sport Games organized by the Csi Chieti led by Mimmo Puracchio will be held in Chieti.
In support of the initiative, which will last until July 19, also the Municipality with the mayor of Ferrara and the councilor for Sport Manuel Pantalone and the Libera association chaired by Gilda Pescara, assisted by Letizia Scastiglia.
There are also many cultural initiatives coordinated by the artistic director Antonio Di Giosafat.
Among the main events, the return, after 25 years, of the Palio of Basketball in Piazza Gb Vico where 6 teams will face each other to resume a deeply felt tradition in the city. The following day the basketball memory tournament will be held in honor of judge Paolo Borsellino 30 years after the via D’Amelio massacre.
