The DFL published the new dates at noon. There is a bang to start with: Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich open the new season against Europa League winners Eintracht Frankfurt!

July 15-17, 2022: 1st matchday of the 2nd league
July 29 to August 1, 2022: 1st round DFB Cup
July 30, 2022: DFL Supercup between FC Bayern and RB Leipzig
5th to 7th August 2022: 1st match day Bundesliga – Bayern Munich opens against Eintracht Frankfurt on Fridayas well as the Berlin Derby: Union welcomes Hertha
September 16-18: Finally again district derby! Dortmund welcomes Schalke 04
7th to 9th October: The classic – Dortmund welcomes Bayernto that Rhein-Derby: Cologne plays away against Gladbach
14th to 16th October: Hamburg-Derby in the 2nd Bundesliga: St. Pauli welcomes HSV
November 11-13: Last match day before the winter break
January 20, 2023: Bundesliga start after the winter break
January 27-29, 2023: Start of the second half of the Bundesliga, second leg of the Hertha Union
January 27, 2023: Second division start after the winter break
March 10-12, 2023: Second leg Schalke-Dortmund
March 31 to April 2, 2023: Second leg Bayern – BVB and Cologne – Gladbach
