On 25 and 26 June the best veteran archers of Italy will be protagonists at Melani, who will compete for the Italian Master Cup
On 25 and 26 June the ASD Arcieri del Micco will organize the 2022 edition of the Italian Cup Master Fitarco of archery at the municipal stadium. After many years our city will return to host a Fitarco event of national interest which will see the participation of the best ‘veteran’ archers from every region of Italy. An event made possible thanks to the precious collaboration of the municipal administration which granted the use of the Melani Stadium, embellished by patronage CONI CR Tuscany and supported by various companies in the Pistoia area.
The race is reserved for archers over 50 of the Barebow, Olympic Bow and Compound Bow divisions and will be divided into two distinct phases. The qualification phaseduring which the 300 registered archers will shoot the 72 arrows necessary to compose the ranking for access to the eliminatory phase, while on Sunday 26 June the archers will start the elimination rounds which will lead to the definition of the individual finalists. Finally, the finalists will face off in one challenge archer against archer to decree the winner. Access to the stadium will be free and the public will be able to watch the match from the west grandstand. The competition will also be broadcast live on the YouTube channel “Fitarco Italia YouArco”.

Sunday 9.30 – 12.00 barebow and compound preliminary rounds; Sunday 12.00 – 13.00 barebow and compound finals; Sunday 1.30 pm – 5.00 pm Olympic arch preliminary rounds; Sunday 17.00 – 18.00 Olympic arc finals.
