Koroska Open – Sportschule Bischoff

Jonathan took part in the Koroska Open in Slovenia with the state squad of the Bavarian Judo Association, but was only able to gain experience on the international stage.

With participants from Slovenia, Austria and Poland, Jonathan’s weight class -90kg in the U21 was well occupied. Against his opening opponent, the Pole Marcin Walenciak, the Ansbacher showed many good actions, but unfortunately they didn’t result in a score. So the fight ended in a draw in the Golden Score. There, a punishment against Bischoff decided the fight.

Since his opponent did not win the pool, Jonathan was unfortunately denied the way to the consolation round and it remained a match.
