The situation in Cucuta with sports venues is complicated, the strong winter season has revived some problems that had been forgotten by political leaders.

Another of the great concerns that remained after speaking with Orozco, is that the administration let the project of the combat arena lose for not presenting what was necessary before the Ministry of Sport that was practically ready to deliver to the city of Cúcuta.
“The people who are not in charge of the administration did not know how to articulate the projects and we lost them, what happens is that when you do not have experience in public administration, you present projects that are not viable. A project had to be presented as it was established and they did notit was not only a combat arena, but also a rugby stadium and a BMX track”, he indicated.
At the moment, citizens are seeking the support of the media to give visibility to the serious infrastructure problems that are occurring in the capital of the North of Santander.
“We raise a voice of protest, hoping to be heardbecause sports in the city do not prevail, we have to impact citizens with sports, to steal from delinquency the young people who are being lost, “he assured.
“It is very sad to see the videos of the children running, collecting their things, trying to protect themselves from the rains,” he added.
