The Portmany club completes the incorporation of the Brazilian center, a giant of 2.14 meters who last season was playing in basketball in the Czech Republic.
Club Bàsquet Sant Antoni continues to strengthen for next season, its second in a row in the LEB Plata. His latest addition is Vinicius Da Silva, a young center of 21 years and a height of 2.14 meters. His size and his good work under the hoops can make a difference in the San Antonio team, which he arrives from Lions J. Hradec, with whom last year he averaged 4.4 points and 3.7 rebounds per game in the highest competition from the Czech Republic.
The carioca, who has a great projection and future ahead of him, already knows LEB Plata, since before making the leap to the Czech Republic he was playing in the ranks of CB Prat, where he presented good statistics.
In his native Brazil he was part of the Regatas de Campinas (where he started basketball) and Paulistano clubs. From the latter he came to Europe, to Joventut’s quarry, where he entered when he was just 16 years old and significantly improved his game performance, both in defense and attack.
Now he disembarks at Sant Antoni, where he is called to be one of the fundamental pieces of the squad that Carles Flores will train for one more year. With his arrival there are already four signings that the Ibizan club has confirmed. Da Silva’s are joined by point guard Dani de la Rúa, forward Alejandro Zurbriggen and power forward Adnan Omeragic.
