GEMLIK BASKETBALL CONTINUE WITH PEER
Misli.com Competing in the Turkish Basketball League, Gemlik Basketball will represent Bursa in the competitions as Peer Gemlik Basketball in the 2022-2023 season by signing an agreement with the Peer Group of Companies for name sponsorship.
Making statements about the agreement, Peer Gemlik Basketball President Berkay Bulut said, “As AKRAN GEMLIK, we represented our city and district in the best way possible. The pilot team practice we made with Tofaş Sports Club last season was an important step for Turkish basketball. In the same way, we will continue our cooperation this season, and we will take place in the league both as the pilot team of Tofaş Sports Club and as AKRAN GEMLIK. We would like to thank Ayhan Korkmaz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Peer Group of Companies, for his support for our club in this struggle.”
Ayhan Korkmaz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Akran Group of Companies, said, “It is very important for me that the Gemlik Basketball Club continues as Peer Gemlik for one more year. Because this city gave us our income. As AKRAN GEMLIK, we set out with new goals by taking the same responsibility and not leaving our team, which is fighting in the 1st League, alone today.”
After the mutual signatures, besides the name of Gemlik Basketball, its logo was changed to Peer Gemlik Basketball.
